Liebherr crane

Inspection & Refurbishment of Liebherr Cranes by Singmarine Offshore Services.

Singmarine with its associates worked on the project, providing engineering, supervision, manpower and spare parts.

Singmarine carried out overhaul for the following items.

1) Hydraulic pumps

2) Hydraulic motors

3) Gearboxes

4) Wire rope Sheaves

5) Diesel Engine

The boom section was inspected and found lacings has to be replaced. Singmarine provided technical support & assisted in boom repair as per the welding procedure laid out by the crane OEM.

Liebherr LTM1800 repair issues, Liebherr Digi-Pal electronic system malfunctions and PAT Load Moment Indicator (LMI) issues. High humidity and moisture ingress had caused extensive corrosion of electronic components. Troubleshooting and repaired of LMI main board, extension boards and LMI Bus Extension board as well as complete adjustment of the LMI boards. Troubleshooting and repaired of several card issues of the Digi-Pal electronic system. Troubleshooting and adjustment of load cell circuits. Readjustment of Digi-Pal analogue outputs to proportional valves to Liebherr specification. Rewire and adjust of length-angle sensor cable reel Troubleshooting and repaired of zero-position limit switches and wiring for operators cabin joystick. The Liebherr winch brake system and electronic were tested for all winches. The luffing jib was erected to ensure correct luffing jib operation. We checked, troubles hooted, repaired and adjusted the luffing jib electronic Digi-Pal Cards. Rewired, replace, and reconnection of defective wiring in the control boxes, junction boxes and sensors, such as length-angle sensor and load cells

The Axial Piston Pump & Motor (AHAX-008-3000 & AHBX-0016-8000) was inspected and found working port, suction port were clogged, severe oil leakage and splined shaft were damaged. Singmarine provided spare parts & technical support for overhaul.

Brand New Joysticks / Hydraulic pilot control units (AHFX-0012-0000 / AHFX-0012-7000 / AHFX-0012-8000) were supplied and installed.

The CAT Engine was inspected and found beyond repair. Singmarine supplied a brand new CAT Engine and provided technical support for the installation.

Our service engineer found doglegs, kinking and damaged terminal end fittings of the wire ropes and we have supplied 28mm 455 meters main hoist wire rope, 28mm 162 meters aux hoist wire rope, 28mm 699 meters boom hoist wire rope and assisted in reeving and change out.

LeTourneau Cranes, PMC Cranes

Inspection & Refurbishment of LeTourneau PCM 120 Crane by Singmarine Offshore Services.

Both cranes were removed from the rig at Jurong Shipyard Singapore. An inspection test plan was issued to the customer for the various activities involved in the refurbishment of all the sub-assemblies of the LeTourneau PCM 120 crane.

We completed the removal of the cranes into elementary components such as four electrical motors, two motor generator sets, four gear boxes, crane wiring, winch drum and drive shaft, and swing rollers.

Our associate partner has carried Non Destruction Testing on the machinery house, king post and the king post cap components.

We supplied and installed new complete rewiring kits consisting of control boards, new cables, control buttons, joysticks, contractors and circuit breakers.

One of the LeTourneau PCM 120 Crane was prohibited for refurbishment due to widespread corrosion on the boom sections and other crane required a modification for the installation of an aux hoist gear box and motor assembly and deflector sheave brackets.

Singmarine supplied all the spares parts for the refurbishment on the cranes.
